I don't have any experience with Mac I am afriad, but you could go to www.download.com to get an idea of what might be available. They have some Mac software listed, but mostly Windows based from what I have seen.

I was talking to the boys at the Mac repair center in Siam last week and they recommended: 'Carbon Copy Cloner' http://www.bombich.com/software/ccc.html

I have not used it but I have to do something soon as my two 250gb are almost full.

An alternative would be to run a RAID configuration, a solution that is built into Mac OS nowadays.

Whatever you use back them up twice !!
Somebody moved my desk yesterday, pulled the cables on my backup disk a little to tight, and ruined it, I lost about half of my pix from 2004-2007. So happy with my double backup system and my DVD burner. Ps. anybody know somewhere to buy Lacie extenal harddisks ?  :'(

Bjorn, I saw two of them today at Central Lat Phrao on Phonon Yothin Rd in the Apple store. One was a 80 gb USB2 for around 3900, and another was a 100gb firewire for 4990. I have also seen them at the mac store in Siam and Fortune. The store at Central Lat Phrao also carried WD 250gb and 500gb external Hard drives.

The backup software I use is Retrospect--I really like it and I am pretty sure it is also Windows compatible.
