Marc--the 23" has degraded after a year and a half? CRT's start degrading after 3 years, and LCD's are supposed to be around for 5 years I think. In either case, sounds like yours might be a lemon. :-( I recently purchased the Apple 23" monitor when I was back in the states and I think it was between $700-800 and I do like it.

The one downstairs in the back of Panthip, (forgot the name) was very helpful and friendly, they installed the RAM for me, while waiting they offered me some coffee. After installing the ram they connected it so I could check if things were working OK. Never had such good service before, in thailand or in europe.

Yes Bjorn. I went there once too to ask some quesitons about my monitor and the guy was very very nice. I think that is the Uficon service center. This company:
