Saw an exhibition yesterday of some real nice slightly hand tinted photos from the late 1800's, by an Italian photgrapher named Adopho Farsari. Some nice images evoking an era long past, part of an exhibition titled "Girls" with a few paintings and sculptures as well. It was showing in the Grusenmeyer gallery. Ends on the 18th of this month, so one needs to hurry. The images can also be seen online, but they really do look so much better in person, as many of the subtleties are lost in the web image--though you can still get a good idea.  http://www.grusenmeyer.be/portfolio/GIRLS!/
