There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

There is an exhibit of photos from South Africa on the 2nd floor of Siam Paragon, down the corridor from Asia Books,  thru January 31st. It features the work of two photographers, Duangdao Suwunarungsi-- http://www.tatnews.org/tat_corporate/3258.asp#3, and Nat ?. Sorry, I cannot recall last name but I do not believe it was Nat Sumanatemeya (known for his fine underwater work). I enjoyed the exhibition and there were some very nice photos amongst the display. I have seen great photos by Duangdao Suwanarungsi in Nature Explorer magazine (Thai only).
