http://9days-inthekingdom.com/index.htmlThe 50 photographers involved in the project have just finished shooting and now the book is in its editing phase. The expected release date is December 2007 on the auspicious event of The Monarch Rama IX's 80th birthday.
I had the chance to go to the closing party of this event at Jim Thompson's house and also to interview some of the photographers at their HQ on the last floor of the Dusit Thani hotel. I'll be putting these interviews online during the coming days.
First one up is James Nacthtwey. He's a living legend of photography and has been working for Time principally since 1984. His interview is here:

One thing I didn't write but that some of you might find interesting is that he shoots 35mm film and uses a only a prime lens (35mm I'm guessing from his pictures).
