There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Marc--Am I the only one who notices the clock is one hour behind on this website? Or has my life really become like the movie Groundhog's Day?  :)

Yes, you are the first one to notice it for sure. Thank you. The Forum was set to a time offset of 12 hours to offset the server's time in the USA, which is located in Florida I believe and is on East Coast time. It is possible I needed to change the offset when the daylight savings time switched a while ago and didn't catch it. I have changed the offset to 13 hours now and it appears to be correct. I guess I will need to do that again when the time difference changes again between Thailand and the East Coast of the USA.

Thank you Don. I just checked the system settings and I am only able to set the time based upon offset from Eastern Standard Time. At the moment the offset is set to 13 hours, which I believe is correct. If it is off by a few minutes that I think would have to do with whatever resource the server uses for checking the time itself.

He he, yes, time changed again due to daylight savings a while ago. Now shows 1 hour ahead...

This happens because they run your server on east coast time. I don't know why sys admins do that. It's silly as they potentially have customers from all around the world of course, and the only universal zone suitable is UTC. Unless your account is on a VPS or dedicated server there's nothing you can do except change it back and forth every 6 months.

Chris :)
