Nikon/Canon convertor
«

Does anyone have any experiences with a nikon/canon convertor? I noticed they have convertors on the fotofile site.
Am intersted as a Nikon user to use the Canon MP-E 65 mm
manual focus
macro lens as Nikon has nothing like it. I have been so impressed with capabilities of this lens to consider a canon body just for the lens but if the convertor is ok it about 100,000 baht cheaper.

Paul--I have a Novoflex convertor to be able to use Nikkor lenses on a Canon body. I had sold or traded most of my Nikkor lenses (and now that I am shooting digital u/w my nephew got my 60mm and 100mm macros, and the 20mm--but for wide angle u/w shooting up with rays of sun coming down film still wins as the sensor blows out the sunlight; sorry to divert from the topic :)), but I still have a Nikkor 200mm macro and an 85mm T/S lens. Have not used them all that much on the Canon but I believe with all the lenses one can use you lose autofocus capabilities--but that would not apply with the lens you want. BTW, a few years ago a friend bought the 65mm macro lens you mentioned and seemed to like it.
