There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Thanks for all the input. Both sides have their points yes it seems to be canon/nikon all over again. The more people I speak to the more the perfect mac dream begins to fade! And they are so expensive... but so beeeeeautiful! Gregoire's point about knowing how to use A PC to get the best out of them/keep them running is very valid. For other business I will need a laptop so I will probably save for the mac (yes I've used a dual screen before and it's superb!).
I'm going to get a nice cup of tea.

Tea??? Are you crazy? Did you know that coffee actually crashes less often and has higher dynamic range than tea? Tea drinkers are just victims of marketing. Wake up and smell the coffee, David!

I think he meant green-tea actually, which is generally higher contrast than coffee and has better saturated colors. Not only that, but it produces an image that is twice the resolution as coffee.  Roll Eyes

Was not going to join in on this caffeine war, but when I saw cinnamon in the coffee I had no choice!  Grin A plain black espresso would be just fine. Ok, if one likes a little milk in the coffee (and I occasionally do with my morning espressos) no problem, but lattes were always way too much milk and not enough coffee for me. I actually like tea sometimes as well, but for refreshment and not necessity as with espresso. Green tea is good, also like ginger tea. I have no coffee/tea photos to justify this rant. hah hah

I think we should switch the subject over to chocolate. To me it is far more interesting than any of these beverages. Anyway, if we keep this up poor David will never get himself a computer. Only a serious caffeine buzz and over stimulated sensory activity.

I just went to the 9 days in Thailand party, at Jim Thompson, for the big photo project. Well, trust me, the pros drank neither tea nor coffee!

I am quite sure it was not fruit juice as well.  Cheesy  Did any of the photographers comment on how their shooting went--any interesting stories?
