There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Marc--Not being computer savvy enough I have no idea why the homepage keeps opening up as unavailable in the 1st try, and then does open on the 2nd. Also, when I hit the back button it always goes back to the Unavailable page and I must keep hiiting the forum button to see stuff. Well, at least I am able to get into the site.

Fred--I was having problems with the site as well. Per a friend's suggestion I just re-bookmarked the site address (and deleted the old one) and everything works fine again. Do not know if this might solve your problem. The only thing I have noticed the last few days is the clock on this site is one hour behind.

HI David and thank's for the advice. But it should not be a problem of bookmark or even of cash to delete.
I dont know. Maybe Marc have an idea.

Fred

Regarding a comment i made over the fact i cannot add pics to my comment i understand now it can be done only in the gallery part and not in the main forum chat where the link insert image close to insert flash just write img/img but not launch any pop up to link a picture.

I have enabled flash links now to work within message posts so you can link pictures from other web sites into your message posts, but I would still prefer all posts from now on to go into the Gallery.

Unfortunately though within your post it seems it did not contain an actual link, only the HTML code, so nothing is coming up for a picture.

Also, an example of the correct HTML code format for linking a photo is as follows:

< img src="http:www.photographythailand.com/winter.jpg">

The above link is not a link to an actual picture, just showing the HTML text protocol.

Also, I put a space in between the first two characters to prevent the Forum from reading it as a link in order for you to be able to see the actual text.

You can see a message post with a linked picture that is displaying correctly here:

http://www.photographythailand.com/Forum/index.php?topic=716

Again though, I would prefer people to post all images in the gallery from now on so that we have one centralized place for locating all image posts. :)
