I have heard good things about Eizo as well. I use an Apple 20" LCD Cinema Display (which I use with a PC in fact) and according to CNET at the time I bought it, it was one of the only LCD screens at a quality level suitable for graphics. I find it to be better in terms of display than any CRT monitor I have ever owned, but then again it should be for more than double the price.
At this point I would tend to disagree with Bjorn's comment that TFT screens are not good enough yet for photography. Again, if you go onto CNET you can read some good reviews on LCD/TFT screens and it seems the ones to watch are the ones made by Apple, Dell, and Viewsonic.
