There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

I spent a couple of days in the North East over the weekend and pottered about with a friend's family in a village near Surin.
I returned to my nice condo and rich life feeling like there was something missing in my life and after being with such wonderful people so close to nature it was clear waht exactly it was. Recall Burt Reynolds' speech at the beginning of deliverence.

Wow David that's a nice photo. I love the way the eye is lead from top to bottom of the picture. Very nice.

Nice shot David.
Reminded me of my childhood life. It's a pity that I cant be there anymore.

It's exciting, dynamic, with great colors and a little story to it. It's great!

Thanks for the feedback.
Heres another portrait from the same haystack.
Not so pleased with this and found it difficult to shoot - against the sun with fill in flash.
I find it very difficult shooting in midday sun and often feel the dynamic range on my 20D could be broader.

One of the graces of Thailand. Issan is largely unrouristed, and from where you shot it, most likely to stay that way for a while. I will be the last one to deplore it. My favorite region in Thailand, ever since I visited the first time, eons ago.
