I am attaching another photo shot during my recent trip to the North. What I thought might be interesting to some about this picture is the shooting data. I shot it at ISO 640, F/2.8 and the shutter speed was 1/15th of a second, handheld (no tripod). The camera used is the Canon 1DS Mark II and the older model Canon 17-35mm L lens. I literally had only a few seconds to compose this shot before the monk gathered up the burnt out incense sticks and walked off again.

Marc,

This is amazingly sharp for handheld at that shutter speed. It seems you have also achieved a very satisfactory DOF with wide open aperture. It is also a stunning and so well composed capture. What did you expose for, the sky?
