Here are three pictures shot in Lumpini Park in Bangkok during Loi Kratong night on 05/11

Really nice to see your Loy Krathong pics Regis and David.

Here are a couple of mine from Chiang Mai where they call it the Yipeng Festival.  This first one was taken around the Tha Phae Gate where a lot of organised activities were based.

This photo was taken at the Ping River where the usual Krathong Floating took place as in the rest of the country.  Although you wouldn't know it from this pic Loy Krathong here is one of the most chaotic scenes I've experienced in Thailand.  The number of fireworks, crackers, noise and people was unbelivable - really difficult photo taking conditions but very memorable.

Thanks very much for your comment Mike.  I have to say this shot was taken in a hurry before the boy tuned away, so in a way any reflections were quite lucky.  It's the only shot I got of him.
