There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

If I had to pick one spot for each place I would say Bangkok: Wat Sutat or Wat Ben - Phuket: Ta Prom Cape - Krabi: Pra Nang Beach.

Hi, Marc, I went to Wat Sutat few days ago for some photos.  Quiet, not touristy.  I will make another trip there again and make sure I bring a tripod.  Your other suggestion on photo site in BKK is Wat Ben?  Where is that?  Thanks for the tip.  Anna

Your welcome. The full name is Wat Benjamabophit, also known as the marble temple. On Sri Ayuthaya Road close to the horse racing stadium, on the way to the parliament building. Hope that helps.

Anna, if you are going to Wat Benja or Marble Temple don't forget to take a closer look of the glass-stained windows of the main temple. If you want to take the photo of the main Buddha, try not to use flash and adjust your camera ISO to around 400-800, you will be surprised of the results. The best time to go there is in the morning when the sun is right opposite the main temple, I must say you will not get good photos if you go there in the afternoon. If you also happen to know Wat Arun or Temple of Dawn, go there in the morning by taking the Chao Phraya River Boat from Taksin Bridge (BTS Taksin Bridge) get off at Tha Tien pier and take the ferry to Wat Arun. From Thai Tien Tier you can can walk to Wat Po and from here the Emerald Temple is just next door. Give yourself a full day and you will surely have a hand full of photos to look at. Do it in this order and you will have perfect lighting and if you are lucky the cloudy weather nowadays will be an added bonus. Jingle24856
