Welcome to the Forum. Have browsed your website and you do have a fairly good collections of photos to show. Thanks for sharing. Was it the Cameron Highlands Tea Plantation you have there. Love that place and been there a few times.

Yes I am based in Bangkok. Will wait for your Thailand photos to be posted in this Forum. I am posting a photo of my Mt.Kinabalu trek unfortunately we only ended in Laban Rata as the group of 12 people had no more energy to proceed to the top and I was the only one willing. I still have to go back there for the 3rd time to reach the Low's Peak. This time I will go with or without the rest of the group but of course with the guide.

sgif, you should try if you can, with the LCCs now offering unbelievable airfares to KK you can manage to. At least next time I climb this mountain I know what to do and will get to the top by hook or by crook. I may not have a fourth time. I was really sad that I was up to 3,725 meter already and I did not reach the Low's Peak. I probably joined the wrong group.

Hello...I am new here too. I will be moving from Korea to Thailand next week. Was very excited to find this site because there is a lack of such sites in Korea.

I am from NZ but lived in Korea for a few years. My bf wants to study to be a scuba diving instructor so that is why we will come to Thailand. And I will do freelance photography/writing. Can't wait to get there!

It is 4,096 meters approximately, it used to be 4,100 meters and so far the highest mountain in South East Asia. It is very friendly too that going up there is not that hard as you may think, you just have to give yourself time and not rush it to the top. Climbing this sacred mountain is one of the highlights you should not miss when you visit Sabah.

Hi Meec,
There are similar mountains in Thailand you could visit as well but not that high though like Mt. Kinabalu. I thought it is easy to enter Malaysia as visitor. They are promoting Visit Malaysia Year 2007 so most probably you can go without any hussle.
