less noisy in higher iso, better AF, vertical grip possibility, bigger lcd, ISO 100, IMHO all more important than the number of megapixels

hehe, Bjorn beat me to it.

11-point AF, way lower noise at high-iso, bigger brighter viewfinder, built-in wireless flash control, bigger brighter LCD, picture styles, customizable, etc.

It's not out at fotofile. I went there and they said "maybe next month". I saw one at Pantip though. It's light and looks ok (nothing like the d200 of course). I called Niks and ViewFinderCamera (at Pirom) and they have it there, in stock, too.

thanks
100% agree with iso100
most of my work is in the field
so the 5 focus areas work okay
is the place you're talking about at pantip one floor down from the top
if off the down escalator from the top turn right?

thanks again

Yes, I remember it as one floor down from the top but could be wrong. They have a nice website: http://www.viewfindercamera.com/ with prices and a picture of the shop. Call before going, they speak English.
