There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Attached is a photo of one of my assistants in his "bunny-suit" (clean suit) taken yesterday in an electronics factory as he was preparing one of the strobes with colored gels for me for a shoot.

I think these behind the scenes snaps are sometimes interesting and even a bit funny because, as you can see, being a commercial photographer, is not always nearly as glamorous as some people might think  :-\

That must be one clean factory!

I love your new thumbnail pics in the top forum banner. Very impressive.

I would have mistaken this shot to a hospital operating room if you did not mention where it is. This guy looks like a doctor himself donning a green robe,  plastic head cover and gloves ready to operate instead of an assistant to you. Oh well, it was just a thought, thanks for sharing.

Thank you Jingle and Gregoire.

Gregoire, I was actually thinking about changing the text and background colors on the Forum banner as well to something a bit more brightly colored, but have not been able to come up with any interesting color combinations yet. If you happen to have any good suggestions on it I would be interested to hear them.

Marc, thanks for sharing.  I like the behind-the-scenes shots because it gives me a better sense of what preparation work needs to be done to produce professional quality work.  I think it is also good for the learning process because it helps to be able to visualize what lighting equipment is being used, position of lights, etc. (I remember the other shot you posted about your "Office", where your assistants were preparing for a shot of some food).
