Took these shots at the Huangpu River Tunnel along the Bund in Shanghai to cross to the other side in lieu of the boat ride. I was just trying to find out what results would I get. C&C are welcome.

Wow. Those are quite spectacular as far as colours go.
They give the impression of travelling down a fibre optic cable - Tron style...
As for the tall structure, though I've seen it many times in photos, I don't know what that building is. It sure makes me think that someone wanted to prove they could use their creativity to create an exmple of decadent uselessness right out of Buck Rogers and rockets of the 50s. I'd actually like to know what they do in there?

The top two pictures are remarkable, are the lights from billboards or some form of electronic displays?

Chris, the bottom picture was taken probably from the Bund in Shanghai towards the Pudong area, it is a truly remarkable structure. It is a TV tower, more detail can be found at the following URL http://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/shanghai/oriental_pearl.htm

Thanks for the comments guys, yes this is in the Bund area in Shanghai, while the tunnel train was moving I just pressed my camera on the glass window at Bulb setting, the colours are from the tunnel lights. The Chinese are very fond of putting a lot of colourful lights on almost anything  to attract attention. The tall building  is the Shanghai Oriental TV Tower with a hotel on the lower level, you can also go up to for a fee to see the view of the city. I used an ND3 filter on this shot.

Hi Antonie,
This tunnel is in the Bund Area, I can not remember how it is called but maybe you can have your friends from Shanghai to tell you. This is somewhere in the JM Tower area where we took the ride to cross over to the Nanjing Road side of the Bund. I went through it only once with our guide as I was not aware of this passage too. Sorry I could not recall the right location.
