There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Hello,

I'm currently looking for a wedding photographer who is in Chiang Mai (or who is willing to travel to Chiang Mai) on January 1st 2007.

My fiancee and I are due to have a Lanna Wedding on this date, but sadly our photographer has had to pull out.

Any recommendations (preferably with a website address for example of their work) would be very much appreciated :)

I'd offer my services Mahony, but I would still call myself an amateur, and I don't think that is wht you are looking for. I am however, shooting a wedding on Koh Samui this December (it will be my third paid wedding assignment). You may look at my webpage, but I don't have any of the wedding shots up: www.pbase.com/charleswilliam3

On a side note; would anyone care to give examples of wedding photogrpher rates in Thailand. Much appreciated

Mahony, CWL,

If you can read Thai or have a friend or wife that can, go to www.pantipmarket.com

Many Thai photographers advertise their services there.

I don't know about weddings but graduation shots are B2,500 for shots with Canon 30D, 580EX flash, etc.

Another option is just to pop into a few photo studios to see what they do. Many will have wedding shots plastered all over their walls.

I am not going to remove this thread, but please refer to the Forum rules:

http://www.photographythailand.com/Forum/index.php?topic=10.msg10#msg10

In general, I would prefer people not asking for professional referrals or quoting prices for professional services in general on this Forum.

Thank you for your kind understanding in this regard.

No worries CL and thank you for being considerate about this. Andy also sent me an e-mail to apologize which was also kind of him. No problem. Sometimes if rules are not broken people never know what they are. So there is often a positive side to things.
