There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

I just posted this on the Events board but thought I'd duplicate it here - hope that's OK.

I'm finally developing one of my Websites and I will be devoting pages to promote things like Thailand Photographers, Thailand Art/Photography Events, etc. If you would like me to make a page for you - free - I'll be happy to enter information about you, your work, your upcoming shows, photos of your work, and anything else you'd like to see.

To get an idea of what I'm doing, please visit http://www.photography-abstracts.com/articles.html. The page is a bit bare now but I do expect it to be filling up soon.

Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon. Remember, absolutely free.

Awe inspiring work Christopher. I really appreciate the fact that you have your own vision and style. VEry refreshing!
I'd love to see your many of these abstractions as prints and i understand you are exhibiting at the moment in Phuket. How long for? I'm going down to Phuket in the last week in October for a few days holiday and it would be great to catch some of your work.
Let me know!

Christopher--I told you last spring I liked your stuff, still do! I liked the lighting and composition very much in Junk 7 Cheang Wattana. As the website fills up it could be a real informative one, if only for letting people know about other photographers and exhibtions wherever they may be--in addition to all else.

David P:
Thanks for the compliments. I have a show on at the moment but that will be ending Sept 30th. I have another show lined up for the month of November opening Nov. 1st. It would be great if you could make it! Let me know. Thanks again.

David S:
Also, thanks for the kinds words again. That particular image (Junk 7) is the tender car of a steam locomotive dating back to WWII. I'm not very good with directions but I remember going north on the expressway towards the airport (Don Meuang) and getting off at Cheang Wattana. From there  you head north towards the northern bus terminal. On the left (you don't go far from the expressway exit) is a very large rail yard and the locomotive and its tender car are visible from the road. If you drive in there, there's an area where they recondition old diesel locomotives (fabulous photo ops there and the folks are very nice about letting you wander around).

In fact when I was there last time, I met a very nice gentleman (spoke excellent English), who invited me to the steam locomotive depot in Thonburi. He met me there and gave me the run of the place. Again, outrageous photo ops if you're into that sort of stuff.

Thanks again all - the adventure continues!
