Hi Steve,

I know two photo lab that still selling Kodak HIE in Bangkok area. One just selling it and another lab even have service to develop it. Both photo labs have staff that can speak English well. Last time I bought expired HIE for THB 270.

I don't khnow whether putting the shop name will break the rule or not, so if you need to get to know more about that shop, please let me know.

Agus, I think it is okay to name the shop in the forum as you will notice in the other threads, although I am not looking for IR film, I am trying to find an IR Filter with reasonable price. Would like to try shooting with it since DSLR will not cost me buying IR films. Thanks.

@jingle52648:
Hi jingle52648 ... thanks for the info.

IR film can be bought in Photo Hobby shop, in Silom Complex. They sell cameras (new and 2nd hand), acessories and film. Previously I found almost-expired Konica VX (BW film, process in C41) there, too. If you're lucky, then you can find the IR film there. I'm staying outside Bangkok, so I I'm not so often to come to that shop.

The second shop is Pro Color Lab, located in Huay Kuang. If you want to learn how to develop your negatif, then you can do it there Cheesy. They can deliver your order, too.

For IR filter, I bought Cokin P007 in Singapore since I couldn't get it here. But my friend told me that actually we can try to find it at Sunny Camera in Lad Prao road or in Mahboon Kroong shopping mall.

heard from other mailing list, some people used 5.25" floppy disk as their filter and digital camera, but I don't know the result.
