well I love portrait photography so that is what I am starting with, and the rest I will learn as I go along :)

I suggest you spend time with your 18-55mm in order to see what kind of pictures you enjoy most (portrait, landscape, low light, macro, wildlife...).

Depending on your shooting style, you will know if you need to add fast primes, zooms, wide lens, telephoto lens to your lens collection.
