There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Took this shot of the moon today with a 500MM Lens and teleconverter X 2 and with some help from PS. Strange how the surface looks like. Will wait when it is full and will take another shot. It is not that perfect but the tele does a good job.

hey jingle, you're like "I'm not a pro" but then you whip out a 500mm with a x2 teleconverter. What do you normally do with that kind of gear???

Hi Gregoire, I had this 500mm Tele for quite sometime now as well as the teleconverter and had not used it.  I am sure if I used it with my SLR I will have no chance to see if the exposure is correct or not, at least with DSLR you can review the shots, adjust it to the right exposure and  take it again, with film, I will probably spend more even before I can tell if I got it right or not. When I saw the half moon, I thought why not give it a shot, I got nothing to lose anyway. I will probably will now try to use this lens and converter regularly. Thanks.
