Welcome Message From Marc

Thank you for visiting the Photography Thailand discussion Forum. I launched this community on March 11, 2006 in order to offer people a free public forum to discuss subjects relating to all aspects of photography in Thailand.

What inspired me to start this forum is that I often receive E-mails from people asking for information on various aspects of photography in Thailand. And because of my professional photography work demands, I often (regrettably) don't have enough time to answer people’s queries personally and in a timely manner.

I am hoping this online community will now offer people a place to make exchanges about the aspects of photography in Thailand that people are looking to learn more about.

You may write to me directly through the forum messaging area if you like, and I will respond to messages on a time permitting basis. You may also make suggestions on other Forum topics you would like to see featured if you feel something is missing.

If though you have questions of a nature relating to one of the forum topics, then these questions are best posted in the forums themselves (rather than sent to me directly) where hopefully other members will be able to respond to your queries quickly.

Some may also find it a way of developing personal relationships with others who share the same interests. This will be great. In fact, I am hoping this turns into a much needed virtual photo club for photographers both inside and outside of Thailand where they can interact freely with one another.

This site is best viewed at a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768. Please note that unregistered guests will not be able to access the premium, content-rich areas of the site, which are the Articles section, Photoshop Corner, and the "How To Tips" section until registering. Members with 10 or more message posts have instant access to the "Listings" section providing detailed information on photo labs, service centers, and camera equipment stores in Bangkok. Once you have contributed 25 posts to the Forum you will be able to list any 2nd hand equipment you might be interested in selling in the "Equipment For Sale Section".
