Hi Marc, great creation. I am not into creative photography but hoping to make something different someday. How did you shoot this one?

Thank you Jingle. It was shot using a fish tank.

I bet you did shoot a few and not only this one, can you post other shots of the same subject. Thanks. BTW, there is a write up about this Forum for the second time in the IT section of the Bangkok Post today. Must be doing good to be highly recommended.

Interesting about the write-up about this Forum in the IT section of the Bangkok Post, and you say that is the second time? I wasn't aware at all. What sort of things did they say if you happen to remember? Anyway, thank you for pointing that out.

Marc, it was a good write up, actually after I read it the first time I joined the Forum right away. Last week was almost similar and even mentioned your name again as the Moderator. The writer highly recommended the Forum to interested members. Maybe that is the reason why we are getting new members lately. Let me check if I still have the copy of that issue and will post what was published. I am not aware how they got the information though.

Very nicely done Marc. I'm sure it must have taken a number of shots to get just the right arrangement and I like how you have managed to get excellent colour against the white backdrop. Only thing I find a bit distracting (only a tiny bit) is the dark stem showing just under the splash. That one might be better removed or de-emphasized in some way I suppose.
On Bangkok Post - I didn't see that write-up but as a new member yesterday would note that I found the forum via a link on another site - I just can't remember which one it was. It wasn't a search engine though as I was reading up on something and came across it. I avguely recall it being someone elses how-to site. However, having visited the forum it was the atmosphere of friendliness and local relevance that made me want to stay and join.
Thank you to Marc for putting in the time and effort to create the forum and also to the substantial effort needed to prime it so that there is some momentum worth staying involved for. Often forums are started as though their existence alone is enough, but in fact it takes effort to make it suceed and I have looked around here and seen that Marc is willing to share his own photos and post his own tips as a way of getting the ball rolling. Thailand is a great place for photography and it's well worth having a forum like this - so once again "big thanks" to Marc and all others who hang out here and share ideas.
Chris :)

Thank you Chris for the good comments on my photo, kind words, and for the note you sent me regarding server space and hosting, which I will reply to soon.
I would actually like to have more time to contribute material and information to the Forum, but I just am too busy to keep up with it so regularly at the moment. I have been a bit flat out lately and just trying to check-in when I have a moment.
I do plan to become more active again in the future with postings and etc, but I am just glad to see that there continue to be nice people like yourself joining the Forum and adding something to it, which also encourages others to participate and join into the discussions. It is also very much the participation from people like yourself to make it a community that others want to visit and participate in.
Best wishes...

I really love this picture. It's like they're dancing or having a pool-party or something. It makes the food look very fun which goes well with rambutan's colorful and outrageous "hairdos".
