Nice shots, were all these photos taken in colour originally or B/W as posted? It is always great taking photos during Songran celebrations specially in Chiang Mai.

Took this shot last weekend before the heavy deluge hit Bangkok and suburbs. Since you probably do a lot of B/W photography, any advise will be appreciated. I am still trying to improve my B/W shoots. This was taken by DSLR in colour mode.

Hi Jingle

All Seasons Place looks nice in BW! Am guessing you took that with the wide end of the lens - the converging verticals. I'd crop the leaning building out. I recently bought a dSLR to use for colour snaps. The kit lens that I foolishly accepted with it has the same problem, converging verticals at the wide end.

I was actually aiming for the lightning and didn't really want the condo on the left in the frame, however if I crop it I would lose the dark clouds looming on that side. Was just trying to test if DSLR can take the speed of lightning. Thanks for the advise, I will surely work on it. Anyway, I took another shot of the All Season Place in the evening and this is how it came out in colour mode.

This is the B/W version of the photo, what do you think? Thanks.

Nice shot Jingle, rarely do I get to press at lightening speed but I like your shot. Have taken
the liberty to straightend up your image abit with the crop tool. Selected the whole image
and made sure to tick the perspective box then dragged the handle bars at each top
corner to straigthend it. Looks like this.

It looked much better now, thanks. Will be looking forward to your posting more B/W photos in this Forum.
