There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

I'm not really sure if truth be told. I'm sure Marc has shot a few buddhas in his time and could advise you better. I've used filters to take the glare off water but never metal. Theyre nice shots anyway. I took some snaps of the reclining buddha at wat pho when i first came to thailand but could never find an interesting angle, i was only using a compact camera and I was a serious tourist as well!
all the best!

Thanks David, I am sure Marc will give his advise on this subject soon and will be waiting for him to post it.

Absolutely love the shot of the two guys - wide angle lens? Care to share which lens was used? :) And black n white works very well.

Really like the first photo. It reminds me of Mission Beach, San Diego. Is everyone on this forum shooting digital ?

I have a DSLR Konika-Minolta Dynax Maxxum 5D and 2 SLR Konika-Minolta 800 models. Can't manage to just have one type to shoot around. Film cameras will still be here to stay regardless of how many DSLRs will be in the market. Both types are useful and compliment each other.
