There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Hi guys, this is my first posting to this forum.  I am very impressed.  I have just completed a multi media design course at Raffles over here in Bangkok after moving from Perth Australia one and a half years ago.  What interested me most though was the photography course.  Actually it interested me so much that I went out and bought a Canon 20D, flash, 3 lenses and a tripod!  So now I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what a next step would be.  Any workshops etc that people can recommend would be fantastic.  I am not working over here so I would reallly love to get involved with what anyone has to offer. Thanks heaps Hayley  :)

Thanks for your advice.  I think that I should definately start to just get out and about and start exploring with the camera.  I will probably start by taking the photography classes at the French place on Sathorn Road.
That workshop does sound fantastic but I am like you I don't my funds will stretch to be able to attend.
Thanks again for your help.

2700 dollars. Too much expensive for the workshop asia. Better you go to Alliance Francaise photo courses and buy a bunch of good gears.
