There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Hi, Marc,

I came across two people last night who get error message when they register.  I requested them to email me what the error message.  Both really wanted to join the forum.  One of them thinks maybe because she has a  U.S. domain emaill address (she lives here).  I am just wondering if some are experiencing this.  Anna

Sorry, don't know what the problem is. Send me their names and E-mail addresses and I can setup a registration for them. I will then E-mail them their passwords and the system will e-mail them a verification e-mail.

I noticed when I registered yesterday that it failed when I tried to use a two name user id. ie. Chris Savery. What was confusing was that many people have two name ids. So I registered again as ChrisSavery (one word) and then after being registered I changed it to two words, which I prefer. This works ok. But your login is still one word after that. A bit strange but I wonder if this may have been the reason it failed for anna. When it fails like that it just stops and doesn't really say why or even that it didn't succeed.

Marc, you may want to make a note in the invitation post as you do mention that using your real name is preferred but it's not clear that if you try to do that you will fail and so you have to change it after registering.

Chris :)
