There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Photography of butterflies and field trip
«

Anybody knows about outings or field trips to make photographs of butterflies ?
I live in Pattaya, where we have ample possibilities, but Chiang Mai and Phuket are good places too.
Field trips in a group are more stimulating and are maybe better from the point of view of security.
I have never come across field trips for amateurs as I am. Thanks for feedback ! YESS

Thanks for info, Fred. You mean in Bangkok ? there are of course butterfly parks with live, but enclosed animals same in a zoo: one in Pattaya, one in Bang Phra, two in Chiang Mai, one in Phuket, in Siem Reap, in KL, in Penang, in Singapore etc. But it is a good starting point to learn about the life cycle and names of butterflies.
Do universities have field trips for (thai) students ?
