There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Dear all,

I have a question, do anybody have experience with the photo fair

What I like to know is are the prices cheaper in the fair.

I want to buy soon these items

-Canon d60
- tripod
- tele zoom lens from canon
- studio lighting set
- flash

If I buy these items in the fair, you think it will be cheaper there or be everything in 1 shop?

What photo fair are you talking about?

I typically shop around for prices, but it seems like Fotofile on the 1st, 3rd and 5th floor of MBK has the best prices on bodies/kits/lenses. (I go to the shop on the 3rd floor) How that will compare to the photo fair, I have no idea. I would suggest getting a "base price" from a few shops so you can compare prices at the fair.

For flashes it depends on which flash you want. I have seen some decent deals on Yongnuo flashes at Panthip. Canon flashes aren't really discounted much.

There are also some relatively new camera shops on the 5th floor of MBK. Fortune Town is always a decent place to look as well.

I mean the photo fair from 23 till 27 Of November in bitec.

Website, www.photofairthailand.com

I looked on YouTube some video about the fair in 2010 and I see all the big companies where there like canon, nikon, sigma, and also some big camerashops.

About mbk I know and I check the prices there , fotofile have good prices,

I don't think prices at the Photo Fair are usually cheaper. It more of a promotional event for manufacturers and local distributors to introduce themselves to the public and for people to discover new products. They may have a few promotions during the Photo Fair, but in general I would say prices are going to be the same.
