There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

hi marc

posted some images several years ago and haven't been back since.  i am now.  never checked out your website.  i like it very much.  i notice that some of your images have the large copyright C and others do not.  can you explain why that is?  guess there is no 'right click protection' on this website.

i tired to view the nude gallery and was not allowed in.  how come?

thanks

Hi Harvey. Welcome back. Some of my images that I have posted on this Forum are ones that are used for commercial use. So I have watermarked them to help protect them from possibly being used without permission. Also, no, there is no right click protection typically on forums, but that doesn't actually protect photos on the internet anyway. At anytime a person can still do what is known as a "Screen Dump" or a "PrintScreen" and still capture a photo that way. So watermarks are the only way to really protect images on the internet. You can read more about Print Screen here if you like: http://www.seoconsultants.com/windows/print-screen/

In regards to access to the nude gallery, there have been a few site changes recently to the Gallery. You can read more about them here if you like and the nude gallery access is mentioned at the end of the second paragraph:

I hope that helps...

wow, i did not know about "screen dump" or "print screen".   i have heard of a screenshot but never connected the two.  i paid an additional $20.00/year to a website that i belong to in order to get that right click protection.
i noticed that you do warn photographers about posting images that they do not own.  i have seen some images on your site that include the photographer's name as copyright at the bottom of the image.

as for the nude gallery, it does pay to read the fine print.  thanks.
