There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

By shear chance I was contacted by a friend who is looking to set up a print business in Bangkok catering specifically to "photographers who want a little more".

It was an opportune time as I had just gone through a disappointment with a local printer and after consultations with my friend, a bit of an education as well. So maybe I can ask you all? What would you want from a printer that was specifically targeting "advanced AM - Pro AM" photographer?

Maybe I can start it off:

1) Online service
2) downloadable profiles for each paper choice
3) clear instructions
4) a manual re-profiling and adjustment service
5) framing (clip frames specifically)
6) mounting

I have an all in one Canon photo printer which also functions as a copier, scanner and fax machine.  Though the main focus is it being a photo printer making it more keen to minute components on a picture.

I recently got a CISS to go with it, though I have set to use this for casual prints and not for professional prints just so the quality would still be great.
