There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Hi Friends !

Referring to the subject above I found a link today which is very interesting for me.
I was wondering if someone can suggest a place to look for this equipment in Bangkok.
I am located very close to AV Camera, so I will go and check with them soon.

Here is the link: http://www.tabletopstudio.com/documents/jewelry_photography.htm

Thanks.

Jayesh

Hi Jayesh

I am no expert by any means, but I think you are better off building you own simple light box. They are very simple to make, you just need to play with it a bit to get the lighting right...especially for jewelry.

There is a really long thread over at POTN that deals with nothing but simple DIY light boxes. Take a look, great info there.

Jayesh, Try Capa at Fortune Town...they have these on display in front of the store. 2nd or 3rd floor

Thank you very much.

I will surely try DIY and test my handyman capabilities.
But, I am sure at the end I will have to look for an answer in a shop. I will check up AV camera and Fortune also.

I already have a light box, but it has lot of constraints. Can not play with light angles and directions. This tent looks like it will allow all kinds of lighting position along with different camera position as well.
