This Smile PHOTO contest, under the title "Bangkok....That's it!", welcomes everyone who loves photography and those who truly love the sights of Bangkok. The objective of this contest is to promote and encourage tourism in Bangkok through impressive photographs of the city.

Enter the contest by registering and submitting an original photograph (taken by yourself), size 1,250 X 1,000 pixel to www.smileatratchaprasong.com/photocontest.

Every photograph entered in the contest will be exhibited at the SMILE Photo Contest exhibition zone in the SMILE @ Ratchaprasong event. The winner will be selected on July 4, 2010. The grand prize is ฿100,000 in cash!

Judging Criteria:

1. Popular Vote (3 prizes) - Based on the votes submitted by people attending the exhibition zone.

2. Judges Vote (3 prizes) - Based on judges from TAT using the following criteria:ี้

- Promoting Bangkok's Image 40 points
- Beauty 35 points
- Creativity and imagination 25 points

Popular Vote:
1st Prize- ฿100,000 in cash
2nd Prize - ฿30,000 in cash
3rd Prize - ฿20,000 in cash

Judges Vote:
1st Prize - ฿100,000 in cash
2nd Prize - ฿30,000 in cash
3rd Prize - ฿20,000 in cash

I was interested to submit to this contest, but there is no submission deadline provided on your posting. Also, the entire web site is in Thai so I cannot navigate it since I cannot read Thai. Lastly, the one link on the web site for the registration form is a dead link. So I guess it is not possible to apply.

I don't read Thai either, but I had a friend read it for me. There is a English version if you click the UK flag on the upper-right corner, but its not complete. The Thai version states the deadline is June 29th (passed) and probably why the link to register does not work.
