There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

I am wondering if anyone has any experience with the horizontal arms that people use with studio tripods. I am interested to buy something which will allow me to cantilever my camera out and directly over something to shoot it. The tripod I have has an arm which can be inserted at 90 degrees to the tripod, but it is not that steady once it is attached with all the weight of the camera.

I am even thinking or an attachable head that I can attach to one of my C-Stands or Light Stands instead of a tripod because those stands are heavier, wider, and sturdier in general.

If anyone has any experience with this kind of equipment and can recommend something that works well I would appreciate it.
