There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

I finally got around to getting a personal website together. The purpose of which is not commercial, in fact there is no commercial work posted at all , but a portfolio to continually develop and refine, as I develop myself as a photographer. I've decided to take the next two years to concentrate on improving my craft and well, see what happens. Any thoughts or opinions regarding form or function are most welcome. I'd be interested to see how it works out on different screens and browsers.

Hi David, congrats from a novice like myself do not compare with the same from a fellow pro, but hey, in the short couple of years I've known you I can see you have made great strides in your chosen profession, I'm so impressed, and good luck with your BA.

Maybe you should consider watermarking them?

The web's awash with image theft and these images look candidates

p.s. did I say they look great

Just my 0.2 cents

Nice David. By the way, you can add your web site as a signature in your membership settings on the Forum and this way your web site will show under your name on all your posts.

I like the feel of the site by the way and the big photo presentation. Nice to see one with a white background for a change. Usually all photographer sites are in black. I am case in point  Roll Eyes

Your welcome. Is there any reason why you don't put "www" as part of your web site address? It works with www as well (I just tested it). www. is more familiar to people I think than http. Just my 2 satang.

hi Dave

I useTSR watermark, its a free download, although you can contribute 9 dollars for a personal use licence, go to www.watermark-image.com,you can download from there.i use this one and it really is easy to use, gives excellent ranges of placement and transparency. Good luck with your website.
