There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Good one Paul. I didn't know about those. Thanks for sharing. The textured ones are nice some of them.

I just called to get some more info on these backgrounds. They are 3 x 6 meters in size. Some are a cotton based material. Others are a plastic type material and printed with inkjet. They said they have a stock of them at the store so one can go to see. Also, the cotton ones are just one single piece of cotton which is great. There will be not stiching visible like when they have to connect 2 pieces of fabric together. Price is roughly 3,000 Baht a piece.

I popped by there today to have a look, and hopefully get one in gray. Unfortunately they were sold out of most of the designs and don't seem to plan to reorder. There was recently a photo fair in Bangkok and I think they had brought them in to sell at the fair. So it doesn't seem like they will stock them now that the fair is over. They had a few off colors left so I could at least feel the fabric and they are nicely made out of a thin cotton canvas material. Light weight and easy to fold up. They said they are made in Korea and if anyone happens to come across another supplier in Bangkok or even Singapore or Hong Kong for these then I would appreciate it if you could post the information here.

I came across one eBay seller from China selling studio backdrops on the Malaysian eBay site here:

Some nice designs.
