There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Canon Singapore Ad For The 7D
«

I saw this ad for the new Canon 7D and what struck me about it is how convincing Ken Watanabe looks as an avid adventure photographer in the ad with that determined look on his face. Well done Ken! If only being a photographer was really as glorious as he makes it look :)

I think "Ken Wanttobe a photographer but Ken Watananbe just looks like a C list Hollywood Actor that wishes he had taken a pee before he got on the set"
Cheesy, not very creative advertising from my perspective. But I guess everyone just wants to play it safe in these troubled times?

Interesting points.
Anyway, I do like him as an actor. I enjoyed him in The Last Samurai, Memoirs Of A Geisha and something else recently very much. I wouldn't quite rate him as a "C" grade actor. In fact I think he is one of the highest paid Asian actors in Hollywood at the moment.
