fortune town in Bangkok has quite a few camera shops and a few with lighting gear. MBK has photofile which has a bit in the shops on 3rd and 5th floors

Ekasilp, the makers of the Elektra Flashes, have a showroom and you can buy there. Location is quite remote, best bet would be to call there and ask for directions, as well as confirm that they are open.
They have also lots of background items.
