There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Thanks, Marc, for that extra tip on PZPro! I have a show coming up in November and this sounds like just the fix I've been looking for.

This debate over film vs. digital has been raging for a long time, and will probably continue for yet a while. I´d like to add, that while slide-film do fade in colour, black&white negatives seems to last for ever, even without the slightest drop in quality. For storage, I´d rather have som fool-proof storage-box with bw-negs, than having to fiddle with several cds, hds etc. But since I also enjoy making colour photos, I´m stuck with both options.... :P

Good point. It really is the b&w stuff that stands the test of time. An acquaintance of mine down here in Phuket showed me some of his "magic lantern" slides from many decades ago and they were in surprizingly excellent condition.
I'm basically a digital convert (although I will never sell my F3), but my only worry has been in blowing up my D70s images to significantly larger sizes than the 6 x 10 inches they come in at. Kurt's suggested PhotoZoom Pro and Genuine Fractals has also been mentioned. After viewing some review sites and getting feedback from folks on this forum, I'm thinking that these might just be the fix. I have a friend heading up to Bkk in a couple of days and hopefully he'll be able to track them down. I'm dying to see the results, and, as I say, if the enlargements are looking good, I'm all the way there.
It's funny - I had "record players" when I was younger (for LPs, and 45s ect.) but don't miss them over CD players one bit. The old F3, though. I really love it and kind of miss it in a way.
I'm sure there are others out there who are still keeping their film cameras somewhere and just won't let 'em go!
