There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Just to introduce myself. I'm Goldmund. I'm a photographer, moved to Bangkok  a little over a year ago.. You can see my work at www.goldmundphoto.com. Marc, thanks for putting together this forum. It seems like a much needed resource for expat photographers here but I wonder why there's not more people posting.. some recent posts are verrry old..

Welcome Goldmund. The Forum goes in spurts, but as you said it is not always so active. Generally though questions get answered by me or someone else so at least people are able to get info via this Forum when they need it.

Hello Goldmund,

Yes as Marc says this forum seems to go in spurts and eventually the questions do get answered; however there is already a wealth of knowledge to be had just by browsing the topics already posted. The posters are very professional and considerate both in attitude and in their willingness to share.

Welcome and enjoy!

Thanks David. Also, I agree, although relatively small, there is a nice bunch of people who participate in this Forum from time to time and thankfully people are considerate as you said, which helps keep the Forum having a friendly atmosphere.

I would also like to comment on this forum, in as much it's utilised mainly by professional photographers, amateurs like myself  contribute and are accepted and welcomed, a great deal of what Iv'e learned about photography is from this forum, and a big thank's to Marc for keeping it going.
