This place was a very interesting find in Krabi. It is actually a national heritage site so it is not really off the beaten path, but what it actually is was a big surprise.

At first look I thought it was just some concrete ground-work that cracked off and fell into the ocean. But it is not!

It is actually fossilized rock made up from sea shells pounded into the shore for thousands of years until it formed this smooth rock that looks like concrete slabs.

Interesting, eh?
