I am looking for a photo of a very old and worn koran being read by a very young monk, its a close up shot, i l know this request seems is difficult, but if anybody could help me it would be greatly appreciated. I saw the image in a street stall in Bangkok and it has been haunting me ever since, i must have it.

I know of 2 Thai photographers who sell their prints like this. One I believe has his main shop in the Lumpini Night Bazaar and the other one is located in the National Stadium BTS station next to the entrance of MBK. The Koran though would be something part of the Muslim religion and if it was something being read by a Buddhist Monk then I think you are referring to a Sanskrit scroll. ANyway, you can try checking both of these places and I hope that helps.
