OK so not really the region but its Asia. taken with Nikon F80 50mm 1.8 lens in Tokyo, a gerat place for street models.

Marc said it well, as this photo does not have a sharp background to distract and the eyes can concentrate on just the image. Nice.

very nice, not crazy about the purplish overcast, which seems from the camera WB reading, or light temperature reading.

Actually, may I ask: Are these 2 terms defining the same "in camera" parameter?
