Hello all,

I am looking at purchasing some lightstands and accessories to attach my portable speedlights (sb-800) to them. I am looking at two units at the moment: Manfrotto 051 NB http://www.manfrotto.com/Jahia/site/manfrotto/cache/off/pid/2503?livid=24&idx=28 and also Manfrotto 420 Combo: http://www.manfrotto.com/webdav/site/manfrotto/shared/_images/Lighting/product_images/zoom/4/420.jpg

My question is: what other bits and pieces would I need to attach a small speedlight (flask) and an umbrella to each of these?

Thanks in advance

Alex

I use Manfrotto stands and this is the clamp I like.
Foto File has had some in stock recently.

Thanks Jeff. This one doesn't have a hotshoe attachement to mount a flash, does it? Are there ones that allow mounting a speedlight?

Thanks

The screw will fit the Speedlite base.

i use a variety of adaptors: Photoflex #AC-BSWCP(plastic rubber knob), Impact Umbrella Bracket with Swivel Mount and Flash
Shoe #3117(cheap), Manfrotto Lite tilt #026(heavy but durable), they all have pros & cons, so choose the ones that fit your style & work for your.
