There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Thanks all, I apprecaite your kind words.
I hope no one lost a camera yesterday, and remember what Robert Capa said: "if your Songkran pictures are not good, you are not soaked enough"! :-))))

A bit more on that wet and wild subject: http://www.tgdaily.com/content/view/36924/145/

According to the guy who posted that blurb, apparently he "wrapped his rascal", as they say.

Hello all,

I am the reporter that wrote up the TG Daily piece.  It was a double saran wrap job with double sided tape sealing all the seams (mainly between the UV filter and lens).

Some water actually did get through (couple drops no big deal) on the 19th, but I was getting hit from ALL directions that day.  Pattaya just turns into a warzone during Songkran, but the 19th was something else.

Ahahah, I suppose the one day in Pattaya where the "make love, not war" city's M.O.  is not quite as true as the other....:-)

Where can we see the pix, Humphrey?

Part 2 of the article - http://www.tgdaily.com/content/view/36934/113/

I think the photos came out ok... could have been better.  However, I like the two pictures of screaming tourists ready to kill people.
