There are some photographers who are just pressing a button. And then there are the others who see the world in a very different way...

Since I just created this new section of the Forum for posting photos that were shot in Thailand, but not of a Thai or Thai Travel nature per say, I thought I would post an image to kick things off.

This is a shot of a 19 year old model from Uzbekistan I took a couple of weeks ago in my studio.

Any questions or comments are welcome.

Very nice. Learning to take pictures like this I think would be the goal of many photographers.

Thank you John. Learning more about taking pictures is still my goal too. The fun part is that the goal never goes away.  Wink

Beautiful, seductive face, I can imagine she has a great body to match it.  Nice angle shot, Khun Marc.

Do you organize workshops in your studio?

Thank you Regis. I have in the past, but unfortunately at the moment I have more assignment work than I can handle. So unfortunately thinking about organzing a workshop is not something I would have the luxury of at the moment. Sorry. In fact, I will be away for about 4-5 days on an assignment starting on Wednesday and probably wont be keeping up on Forum postings for the next week or so. Best...

The image was shot with the Canon 1DS Mark II DSLR camera together with the Canon 24-105mm F/4 L lens. Yes, for Photoshop adjustments contrast, levels, desaturation, and some selective blurring were applied and then at 30% opacity a copy of the background layer was added in Overlay blending mode to give it that high contrast effect. I hope this helps.

Another fantastic image. I saw this one first (or one from the same shoot) at a stock photography site and it impressed me then I found it on your site.
